Dr. Ronald Paler, president of the Michigan Dental Association Foundation for the past eight years, was recently honored with the John G. Nolen Meritorious Award during the Michigan Dental AssociationÆs Annual Session in Novi.
Paler, a past president of the MDA, received the award during the first meeting of the MDA House of Delegates on April 15. The John G. Nolen Meritorious Award is the MDAÆs highest honor.
PalerÆs contributions to the profession over the past 40 years are truly remarkable. He has served with the Detroit District Dental Society, the MEDA, the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association Foundation in countless positions too numerous to name. He has exhibited a rare passion for dentistry, through many hours as a volunteer, as a legislative advocate and as a philanthropist. Paler also serves as deputy regent of the International College of Dentists.
As a man and a professional, Paler will be long-remembered in the distinguished annals of Michigan dentistry. |
